Two Israeli captives were killed and eight others were wounded at the hands of the Israeli air force in Gaza, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, announced on Sunday amid heavy Israeli bombing on the besieged Strip.

"Their conditions are becoming more dangerous in light of the inability to provide them with appropriate treatment. [Israel] bears full responsibility for the lives of those injured in light of their continued bombing," the statement said, regarding the remaining captives.

The Palestinian Resistance released more than 100 Israeli captives in November during a ceasefire with the Israeli occupation, which led to the liberation of 240 Palestinian prisoners.

However, due to the continuous indiscriminate bombing by the Israeli occupation forces, IOF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari announced Tuesday that 32 of the remaining captives had been killed. According to the Israeli occupation, there are still 136 captives in Gaza.

"We have informed 31 families that their captured loved ones are no longer among the living and that we have pronounced them dead," he told a regular media briefing.

In contrast, the number of Palestinians arrested and detained since October 7 has reached 6,950, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.

The Palestinian Resistance has repeatedly published footage of Israeli captives calling on their government to halt the aggression on Gaza and work toward their release. Meanwhile, the ongoing Israeli strikes on Gaza and attempts to advance further inside the Strip have led to the killing of several Israeli captives.

For months, the families of the Israeli captives have been staging protests in "Tel Aviv" demanding that the Israeli government end the war and negotiate a prisoner exchange deal and criticizing the policies of the Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has insisted on his promise to "destroy Hamas".

On their part, the Palestinian Resistance factions have reiterated that they will not negotiate a deal unless the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza ends and the occupation forces withdraw from the Strip, rejecting any temporary agreements.

Palestinian prisoners tortured, abused

The Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) reviewed the latest intel and developments regarding the issue of Palestinians arrested from the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation forces in the wake of their ground invasion, highlighting the harsh detention conditions they are subjected to.

In its update on the situation of Palestinian prisoners, the PPC affirmed that the testimonies of Gazan detainees, including women and children, "reflect a high level of brutality, including torture, abuse, harsh, and humiliating detention conditions."

The organization emphasized that these harsh conditions lead to physical injuries among the detainees, in addition to the psychological effects resulting from torture and humiliation practiced by the occupation.

The PPC also revealed that two out of the seven detainees that were killed since October 7 in Israeli prisons were detained from Gaza; one detainee was identified while the other's identity is still not being revealed by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Israeli occupation has admitted to executing one detainee and disclosed the martyrdom of a group of detainees in the "Sde Teman" detention camp in the occupied city of Beer al-Sabe.

"The Israeli occupation still refuses to disclose any clear information about the detainees from Gaza in its prisons and camps; [it is] committing the crime of forced disappearance against them," the PPC said.

"The data made available to [human rights] organizations is limited and obtained through released detainees, as institutions are facing significant challenges in following up on and covering this issue," it added.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club continued by stating that the available data includes some names of camps and prisons where detainees taken from Gaza are held, such as the "Sde Teman" camp in Beer al-Sabe, "Anatot" camp, "Ofer" prison, "Damon" prison, and other camps affiliated with the Israeli occupation forces.
