Violent confrontations erupted Sunday between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the village of Sir, southeast of Jenin, in the occupied northern West Bank.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Israeli forces deployed military reinforcements from the al-Jalamah and Dotan checkpoints toward Sir village, while confrontations broke out around Mount Sir in Jenin following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle in the area.

Additionally, the occupation forces besieged a house, with explosions and gunfire heard in the village of Sir.

Our correspondent later confirmed that the occupation forces still have the house under siege after declaring the village a closed military zone.

Two Palestinians were killed in the village following hours of siege, shelling, and confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces, according to the correspondent.

The Israeli Army Radio claimed that the Israeli military targeted an armed cell of four individuals south of Jenin, which had been under surveillance for some time.

Field sources confirmed that the Palestinian Resistance fighters are exchanging gunfire with the Israeli occupation forces in Sir village.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces are preventing ambulance teams from reaching the site targeted by a drone strike near the village.

According to reports by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli occupation vehicles stormed the town, spread across its streets, and opened live fire on citizens, sparking confrontations.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the town of Jamaain, south of Nablus, and the Wadi al-Hariya area in al-Khalil.

After storming the Khallat Hador area in al-Khalil, the occupying forces destroyed Palestinians' vehicles and fired tear gas inside commercial shops in the town of Idna, west of the city.

On Friday evening, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Idna, west of al-Khalil, firing stun grenades and tear gas at Palestinians. They spread across the roads and around homes in the al-Qurnah neighborhood, setting up a military checkpoint and detaining and searching vehicles.
