The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of Salah al-Din Suleiman al-Shawamreh (28), after succumbing to critical wounds sustained from Israeli occupation forces' gunfire in the southwest of al-Khalil, just a few hours after his brother Najm al-Din was martyred.

The Israeli occupation forces had fired live ammunition at three brothers near Beit Marsam, killing Najm al-Din (25), while Salah al-Din sustained critical injuries to the abdomen and chest, eventually leading to his martyrdom. Their brother, Nour al-Din (30), was also injured by the Israeli occupation forces' gunfire.

With the martyrdom of the al-Shawamreh brothers, the number of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank at the hands of Israeli occupation forces and settlers since October 7, 2023, has risen to 416, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

This comes as Israeli occupation forces continue their daily raids into the towns and villages of the occupied West Bank, harassing and assaulting citizens, storming their homes, and subjecting them to field interrogations, as well as detaining Palestinian youths.

Early Friday, local sources reported that occupation forces raided the city of Salfit in the northern West Bank with three military vehicles and an infantry force.

Armed confrontations also erupted between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces that raided the town of Jabaa in Jenin.

Palestinian media also reported a serious injury by Israeli occupation gunfire in the Qalandia refugee camp north of occupied al-Quds.

Earlier on Thursday, the occupation forces shot a Palestinian youth in the head during a raid on the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah. A special Israeli unit infiltrated the town in a civilian vehicle, followed by a force of at least seven military vehicles that deployed themselves around the old mosque, leading to confrontations with Palestinian Resistance fighters.

In addition, a Palestinian citizen was injured after being rammed and attacked by an Israeli settler near the entrance of the eastern village of al-Luban al-Sharkiya, south of Nablus.
