Additionally, health sources in Jenin confirmed the martyrdom of Salah Mohammad Jabbareen on Tuesday, succumbing to injuries he sustained from Israeli gunfire.
Jabareen had been injured months ago during an earlier incursion by Israeli forces into the city of Jenin and its refugee camp.
His father, Mohammad, 54, was martyred at the time after being shot by Israeli forces while on the roof of his home.
Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub mentioned that Israeli occupation forces surrounded a house in the Jenin refugee camp earlier on Monday.
"Occupation soldiers climbed on the roofs of the houses and started shooting at anything that moved, resulting in the martyrdom of a minor and a young man in his 20s," he told AFP.
Major Israeli military raids in Jenin, as well as in the Nur Shams and Balata refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, have persisted through September, resulting in the martyrdom of 36 Palestinians, according to reports from the United Nations and the Palestinian Authority.
"What is happening to the city of Jenin and its camp are systematic attacks aimed at destroying what we rebuild after each attack," Abu al-Rub indicated.
"Today, the occupation army destroyed streets. This is the 14th time since October 7 that the occupation has destroyed what we have rebuilt."
According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has risen to 755, including 165 children, in addition to more than 6,250 citizens injured with varying degrees of severity.
