Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday shot dead a Palestinian youth, south of Beit Lahm, and wounded several others in various areas across the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that 39-year-old Bilal Adel Abdul Fattah succumbed to his injuries after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in Beit Fajjar, south of Beit Lahm.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli occupation forces shot Abdul Fattah at the western entrance to Beit Fajjar, left him bleeding, and prevented ambulance crews from approaching him to provide treatment.

Israeli occupation forces stormed Beit Fajjar and spread around a gas station within the town, restricting the movement of residents.

In a related context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the occupied Palestinian territories reported that a Palestinian youth was injured by live ammunition during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the al-Dhahr area in Beit Ummar, north of al-Khalil in the West Bank.

Our correspondent added that Israeli occupation forces also stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah in the West Bank, and fired live bullets.

Moreover, 31-year-old Raed Yaseen, from Jenin, was wounded by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire west of Baqa al-Sharqiya, north of Tulkarm.

Ahmad Jibril, the spokesperson for the Palestine Red Crescent Society, said medical teams dealt with leg injuries two 15-year-old children had sustained.

Local sources reported that occupation forces fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, and toxic gas bombs at Palestinians.

Concurrently with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip for nearly nine months, the Israeli occupation has escalated its daily raids and detainments across various areas of the occupied West Bank.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple raids in various areas of the West Bank, involving assaults on Palestinians and field interrogations.

The occupation forces detained several Palestinians from the towns of Safa, Sinjil, and Deir Ibzi’ in Ramallah, where confrontations erupted between Palestinians and occupation forces in the village of Ajoul.

A couple of days ago, the Palestinian Prisoners Society highlighted that the Israeli occupation continues to detain over 9,300 Palestinians in its prisons, including at least 75 women and no less than 250 children.
