Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, described “Israel’s” ongoing aggression against the strip as a “genocide against Gaza, in full view of the world, which continues to sit idly by.”

He further noted that during the past eight days, since the start of the aggression last Saturday, more than 55 Palestinian families were removed from official records, as they were massacred by the Israeli occupation.

Regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip amid the occupation's war crimes and the targeting of civilian buildings and hospitals, Al-Qedra noted that medical crews “will not respond to Israeli threats to evacuate hospitals; they have made the decision to continue working. They will stay in place and continue to fulfill their duty and not evacuate the hospitals, even if they should be leveled over our heads.”

The Health Ministry’s spokesperson also asked the Jordanian field hospital not to leave the Gaza Strip and demanded that the international community work on evacuating the sick and wounded through a safe corridor for treatment outside of Gaza.

He further demanded that a safe corridor be opened in order to let in medical aid and fuel to the Gaza Strip, or else a catastrophe is expected.

The Israeli occupation is still launching its raids on the Gaza Strip, on the eighth day of the aggression against Gaza, the last of which was on Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Strip,  the Al-Fakhoura neighborhood west of the Jabaliya camp, Hamid Street in the al-Shati' neighborhood, and on the city of Rafah.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that the Israeli occupation committed three massacres in the span of one hour, noting that more than 90 martyrs, most of them children, died as a result of the Israeli bombing of Gaza in the last hours.

More than 20 from one family were wounded and arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of the Israeli bombing, and at least 20 were martyred and more than 80 injured in the Al-Fakhoura neighborhood massacre, west of Jabaliya.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent explained that the occupation's strike on the Jawdeh family's home resulted in 10 martyrs and dozens of wounded, while a strike on the Barghout family home resulted in 5 martyrs and dozens of wounded. Local sources reported that the entire Ghoul family was martyred in the bombing of al-Shati' camp.
