Since cemeteries became full, a mass burial was held on Wednesday in Khan Younis for dozens of Palestinians killed during the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced on Thursday that Israeli occupation forces (IOF)  have detained Awni Khattab, the director of a medical clinic in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip.

The PRCS posted on X that it is "deeply worried about Awni Khattab, our colleague the head of Khan Younis Medical Center, #Gaza. Israeli forces arrested him and now his whereabouts are unknown."

The IOF has not spared medical centers from their brutality indiscriminately targeting civilians and medical personnel in what has been described as the most brutal night since the start of the aggression 48 days ago, leaving dozens of casualties.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the remains of the martyrs have been spread out on the second floor of the hospital and that the IOF has taken some of the martyrs' remains, effectively keeping them hostage.

200 wounded patients, along with the medical staff are still besieged in the Indonesian hospital by the IOF.
