Israeli Army Radio revealed on Thursday morning what it described as a "serious security incident" on the Gaza Strip border.

Al-Qassam Brigades later revealed that the Resistance fighters carried out an operation and successfully breached the Karem Abu Salem crossing, attacking the headquarters of the Israeli division operating in Rafah.

Before al-Qassam released its statement, the Israeli radio's military correspondent confirmed reports of armed men successfully breaching the crossing located in the Rafah area, south of the Gaza Strip, and advancing toward the occupied Palestinian territories surrounding the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, he explained that the IOF's units, conducting operations in the vicinity, confronted the Resistance fighters, leading to a skirmish with gunfire exchanged. Subsequently, two Israeli drones and tanks were deployed in pursuit of them. On that note, the Israeli army's spokesperson emphasized that the "possibility of one of the group members being able to return to Gaza is being examined."

Resistance operations continue, casualties among IOF ranks

Various Palestinian factions declared on Wednesday a series of operations across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip which inflicted casualties among the occupation forces. The Israeli forces admitted that ten soldiers sustained injuries in the past 24 hours during battles in the Strip.

Additionally, it reported targeting an Israeli D9 tank in the same area.

The al-Qassam Brigades directed heavy-caliber mortar shells towards the occupation forces stationed in the Netzarim axis, situated south of Gaza City.

The al-Quds Brigades, the military branch of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, declared that it launched several Ababil projectiles targeting concentrations of occupation forces east of the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The brigades confirmed that its Resistance fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Rafah, south of the Strip, with appropriate anti-armor weapons.

The al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for bombing an occupation soldiers' site along the supply line in the Netzarim axis, located south of Gaza City, utilizing heavy-caliber mortar shells.

In response, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades declared the targeting of groups of occupation forces advancing east of al-Bureij Camp with a barrage of 107 rockets, alongside short-range missiles and mortar shells. Additionally, they aimed at occupation forces stationed in the Netzarim axis in Gaza City.
