Israeli media: What will happen in the next war if rumors and false news spread?
Israeli media said on Tuesday that Israeli Knesset members' rush to announce the results of the helicopter crash before the "Israeli army" to be pure madness.
Israeli Channel 13 described this as shameful, asking, what would happen in the "next war" as such rumors and false news spread?
The channel described that what happened yesterday with regards to the helicopter crash to be utter madness and a breach of instructions.
The former Commander of the Israeli Navy Eli Marom told Channel 13 that it is difficult to imagine what happened with regards to the crash, and it would be futile to enter a guessing game, adding that all government officials have flown in this helicopter while visiting the navy or partaking in naval exercises.
He also noted that he is quite familiar with the helicopter's cockpit, stressing the need to pursue this matter by a technical commission.
Israeli media reported that estimations point toward a technical malfunction being behind the crash of the Israeli helicopter yesterday at sea, which led to the deaths of two pilots, while a third survived. They also said that the odds that an external factor may be responsible for the incident are not high, but everything is possible.
