Israeli Media: Herzog to visit Bahrain, UAE next month
Israeli media reports on Israeli occupation's President Isaac Herzog's visit to Bahrain and UAE on December 4.
Israeli occupation's President Isaac Herzog will be the first Israeli head of state to visit Bahrain on December 4, in response to an invitation he received from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Israeli media reported.
"Isaac Herzog will make a state visit to Bahrain next month for the first time, at the invitation of Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa," Israeli Channel 13 reported.
"Herzog will go to Bahrain on December 4 and will hold meetings with the king, senior officials in the kingdom, and members of the Jewish community," the channel said, adding that "the president's office stated that the leaders will discuss strengthening relations and expanding cooperation."
According to the channel, Herzog will travel to the United Arab Emirates the next day and will participate in the space conference that will be held in Abu Dhabi. He will also meet UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and as per the channel, it will be "the fourth meeting between Herzog and the UAE president since he took office."
In September, Herzog received the Emirati Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in "Tel Aviv" who was accompanied by a high-level official and economic delegation.
Isaac Herzog visited the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, on January 30, 2022, was received by the Minister of International Cooperation, Abdullah bin Zayed.
It is worth noting that the UAE was the first Gulf state to normalize ties with "Israel", kicking off a wave of normalization that saw Bahrain, Sudan, and Morrocco swept by the tide.
The Israeli occupation and the United Arab Emirates have long been exchanging visits, drawing more and more criticism for the Arab nation that abandoned the Palestinian cause for economic and political gains.
