Israeli media: IOF shot dead Palestinian teen, offered no explanation
Palestinian teenager, Ammar Abu Afifa, was shot dead, and no one has been indicted yet, like all other Israeli mass killings of Palestinians.
Another teen has fallen as a martyr after Israeli occupation bullets took his life away. Today, like every day, the soldiers walk away with no prosecution or indictment.
Ammar Abu Afifa, 19 years old, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces who later admitted the young boy was not engaging in any "threatening acts" that could have provoked the break of fire.
The soldiers were not prosecuted and offered no explanation for their unprovoked violence, which is the usual case with IOF convictions under the Israeli occupation.
The only crime Abu Afifa committed was being Palestinian under the Israeli occupation that designated him as a target because of his identity. It is as simple as that, the soldiers shot Abu Afifa as he was running away from them.
“We left to breathe some clean air. There are no green places in the camp. We live in a cage," said Mohammad, 17, one of Ammar’s closest friends. He was with him as he took his last breaths. Despite his upbringing under the Israeli occupation in the occupied West Bank, Ammar has big dreams that extended beyond the walls of the camp he lived inside.
His mother, Samiha, described him as a young man passionate about his studies, quick to smile and laugh. However, Ammar's smile faded with the darkness of the night that the Palestinians hope would last before waking up to another day under the Israeli occupation.
Ammar is one of the many victims shot dead under the Israeli occupation for no reason, and his family was left to watch his murderers walk away freely without prosecution.
