Israeli media: Israeli plane crossed KSA airspace to Seychelle Islands
Israeli media are talking about the first flight of the Israeli Arkia airline crossing Saudi airspace yesterday, Monday, on its way to the island of Seychelles.
Israeli media said that "the first flight of the Israeli Arkia airline crossed the Saudi airspace last night on its way to the island of Seychelles," adding that "the plane made a diplomatic stop in Amman (the Jordanian capital) before heading to Riyadh."
According to Flight Radar 24 website, which monitors aircraft movement, it was revealed that an Israeli plane landed in the Jordanian capital, Amman, before heading to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
On Monday, the military affairs commentator for the Israeli KAN channel, Itai Blumenthal, revealed that an Israeli administrative plane had arrived in Riyadh.
The Israeli commentator wrote, via his Twitter account: "For lovers of normalization: an Israeli administrative plane (T7-WZZ), in the service of "Shino Airlines", landed a short time ago in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia."
Earlier, in July, the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority decided to "open Saudi airspace to all air carriers," including Israeli carriers, that "meet the requirements for transiting the country's airspace."
On his part, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said, also in July, that relations with Saudi Arabia "are not Abrahamic agreements, but a process of normalization. It was important for us that the US administration bears responsibility for this matter as well."
