Israeli Media: Nasrallah's Speech Was One of the Most Important
Several Israeli media outlets describe Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speech on Monday as one of his most important speeches in recent years.
Israeli media described Hezbollah's Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speech as one of the most important in recent years.
Arab Affairs Correspondent at Kan 11, Roi Kais, said that Sayyed Nasrallah's last speech on Monday was "similar" to his speech where he addressed Saudi Arabia in regard to their aggression on Yemen.
Kais commented that Hezbollah's "battle" with Samir Geagea's Lebanese Forces "is in its infancy."
For its part, Yedioth Ahronoth also pointed out that Sayyed Nasrallah did not mention Geagea's name in his speech.
During his speech regarding the recent developments in Lebanon after the Tayouneh ambush, Sayyed Nasrallah said that “The real endgame [of the Lebanese Forces] is to ignite a civil war that would lead to demographic change.”
The Secretary-General explained that the appearance of trained armed militants confirms that this is “a fighting militia,” highlighting that the LF “does not care about the occurrence of a military clash nor a civil war as they both serve its agenda.”
Sayyed Nasrallah assured that the only threat menacing the Christian community emanates from the Lebanese Forces Party, indicating that the LF still hopes to establish secluded sectarian cantons.
