Israeli occupation forces attack Palestinians in Al-Quds
Tens of thousands of Palestinians commemorating a Muslim anniversary in occupied Al-Quds came under the attack of Israeli occupation forces.
Today, Monday, confrontations were renewed between the Israeli occupation forces and young Palestinians residing in Al-Quds celebrating the "Israa and Mi'raj" (Prophet Muhammad’s miraculous Night Journey – Israa – from Makka to Al-Quds, followed by his ascension to heaven – Mi’raj) in Bab Al-Amoud Square in occupied Al-Quds.
The Israeli occupation forces sprayed the celebrating Palestinians with sewage water and tear gas, causing many cases of suffocation, as well as damage to several vehicles and shops.
The IOF also arrested a 14-year-old boy after beating him up.
Moreover, Israeli occupation forces ganged up on a 12-year-old Palestinian girl and beat her up.
In the meantime, the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque saw tens of thousands of worshipers gathering to celebrate the anniversary, and the IOF detained a number of them.
In a different context, several Palestinians suffocated as a result of tear gas canisters shot at them, when the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil, in the southern occupied West Bank.
The occupation forces arrested the freed prisoners, Ibrahim Zaqeq and Diyar Al-Salibi, according to statements by the media activist in Beit Ummar Muhammad Awad, noting that the suffocated people were treated on the spot.

The IOF, Sunday, arrested the freed prisoner, Naseem Salah, from Jenin refugee camp, while he was passing through a military checkpoint near Qalqilya.
In a related context, today, Monday, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones on the Jenin road near the evacuated “Homish” settlement, causing damage to a number of them, according to statements by Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank.
Daghlas pointed out that the settlers obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles and prevented them from traveling along the Jenin-Nablus road.
Moreover, the mayor of Sebastia, north of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Muhammad Azem, stated that dozens of settlers stormed the archaeological site in Sebastia, under IOF heavy protection, after the latter closed the area and prevented citizens from entry.
