The Israeli occupation forces on Monday killed a young Palestinian man after shooting him under the allegation that he was throwing petrol bombs near the occupied Palestinian West Bank city of Beit Lahm, Palestinian officials said.

A young man named Zakaria Mohammed Al-Zaoul, 20, lost his life in the town of Husan after he was fatally shot. The ministry stated that he was "martyred by live occupation bullets to the head."

According to the Israeli occupation forces, their troops were engaged in "routine activity" in the city, located to the south of Jerusalem, when they encountered a situation where "a suspect hurled Molotov cocktails" at them.

The IOF released a statement indicating that "the soldiers responded with live fire" and confirmed that they had successfully hit the target.

During the confrontation between the military and young Palestinians, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported the use of live fire, tear gas, and stun grenades by the military.

Zaoul's death adds to the escalating violence associated with Israeli aggression in Palestine. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the military used live fire, tear gas, and stun grenades during the confrontations with young Palestinians.

It was later reported that another Palestinian man died from "critical wounds to the abdomen sustained from live occupation fire" in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, a ministry statement said.

Amad Aref, 48, increased the number of Palestinians killed in the aftermath of an Israeli raid on the Palestinian city on Monday, which health officials said led to over 90 injuries.

A large Israeli occupation force had stormed the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, leading to armed clashes that resulted in the injury of several civilians.

Durig the raid, the Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade resistance group said its fighters opened fire at the IOF during the raid on the camp and detonated a number of explosive devices that targeted several military vehicles.

A statement issued by the Al-Quds Brigades announced the launch of Operation Fury of the Free in response to the aggression and incursion of the occupation forces into the city of Jenin, affirming its continued fight against the occupation forces.

The IOF's efforts to rescue its soldiers went on for over an hour, an Israeli military source told the outlet. "The Home Front Command warned that the rules of engagement are changing after the incident caught them by surprise."

"The vehicle that was hit was made to tank IEDs and gunfire, therefore they are checking whether the IED that did this damage is locally produced or was smuggled in," the source added.

"The IED destroyed the back of the vehicle, and the moment the soldiers got out of it, [the Palestinian freedom fighters] started shooting at them," he added. "We are not talking about a single case now, as we saw a sharp increase in the range of explosive devices used against Israeli forces last month."

The Jenin Brigade stated that it still had more surprises in store, warning the occupation forces against persisting in their aggression against the homes of the innocent and targeting civilians.

A large Israeli occupation force had stormed the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, leading to armed clashes that resulted in the injury of several civilians.

Thus far, six Palestinians have been martyred, with dozens of others injured and several in critical condition.

Israeli media reported that seven soldiers were injured in the ambush, commenting on it by saying it was "very painful and exceptionally tragic.

Moreover, Israeli Ynet military affairs analyst Yossi Yehoshua said hours after the incident that the ambush that took place was very reminiscent of Hezbollah's mode of operation in Lebanon.

The Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Battalion said its fighters opened fire at the IOF during the raid on the camp and detonated a number of explosive devices that targeted several military vehicles.

Israeli KAN broadcaster military affairs correspondent Itai Blumental said: Jenin was undergoing a "'Lebanonization' process," which he said was "extremely worrying".
