Israeli occupation launch military drills to protect its gas platforms
Israeli media say that the Israeli forces are preparing for a future confrontation with Iran and Hezbollah.
Israeli media quoted Israeli journalists saying that "the Israeli army allowed journalists to join a maneuver simulating the protection of gas platforms... and they learned about the Navy's intention to defend strategic objectives."
"Israel Hayom" reported that the Israeli occupation forces are talking about various maneuvers, but this time they revealed a full picture of a maneuver before it was carried out," and mentioned that "there are reports that talked about preparations for a future confrontation with Iran, even if the plot of the maneuver is being under an attack by Hezbollah."
According to the newspaper, a colonel in the Israeli occupation forces said that "we are ready for the worst situation," noting that "our hypothesis is that in the next confrontation, the enemy will launch everything it has - ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones."
He continued, "The Israeli army is ready for any scenario, and is ready to defend the gas platforms from naval and air attacks."

The Israeli newspaper believes that "there are various threats from Hezbollah" and about this, the Israeli colonel confirmed that "if Hezbollah enters a war with 'Israel', it will try to hit specific targets using accurate missiles, which it tries to acquire."
In this context, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, May 9 accused the opponents of the resistance of "wanting Lebanon to surrender its biggest power in drilling for its oil and [natural] gas."
Nasrallah stressed that the Lebanese have "have a resistance that can tell the enemy 'if you prevent Lebanon from drilling for energy [supplies], we will prevent you [from drilling for resources],' and no company will be able to start operating in the Karish gas field."
