A homegrown Improvised Explosive Device (IED) has killed 1 Israeli officer and injured 9 others in Nour Shams Camp, in Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank.

An undercover special force of the Israeli occupation invaded the camp overnight in an aggression that has carried on to this hour. Local social media users continue to circulate several videos of IED explosions that targeted Israeli occupation forces since Thursday dawn.

Palestinian youth have been confronting the intruding Israeli forces in the camp for more than 16 consecutive hours, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported. Twelve Palestinians have been martyred including unarmed civilians and children. A video circulated of an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle targeting unarmed civilians near a mosque in Nour Shams.

Israeli occupation forces also detained an injured Palestinian who was being transferred to a nearby hospital via an ambulance.

The Israeli military announced earlier that the Nour Shams Camp is a closed military zone and has since then worked non-stop to destroy civilian infrastructure, including roads.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, seven Palestinians had been martyred since the early hours of the morning after Israeli occupation forces targeted Palestinians with live gunfire, according to the Palestinian News Agency.

The Israeli occupation forces have tightened restrictions on movement in the West Bank following the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7. Since the bombing of al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on October 17, the West Bank has seen increased demonstrations and confrontations against Israeli occupation soldiers.

A wide-scale arrest campaign on Palestinians in the West Bank comes at a time when "Israel" has concentrated a large sum of its assets in Gaza's Envelope and the Northern Front with Lebanon. The main objective of the Israeli military and political command in occupied territories is to restrict the occupation in the West Bank and occupied 1948 territories.
