Israeli police crack down on protesters amid demands for captives deal
Anti-government rallies calling for Netanyahu's removal, new elections, and a captives deal break out across "Israel" amid police crackdown.
Protests were held in Tel Aviv on Saturday night demanding the Israeli occupation government return captives a day after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) announced they had recovered 3 more bodies of captives.
Conflicting reports have been handled by Israeli media, whose source appears to all be journalist Barak Ravid., who himself, in a post on X, denied that any negotiations are set for later this week right after announcing their resumption.
Some families announced they would address footage published this week that allegedly shows female IOF captured during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
It is noteworthy that Hamas asserted that the video being circulated is edited and manipulated, casting doubt on the authenticity of its content. "The video clip being circulated in Israeli media is edited and manipulated, and the authenticity of its content cannot be verified," the statement declared.
Mothers of captives are scheduled to be present and heavily critical of the occupation's government.
On Friday, the IOF stated that it had discovered the remains of Orión Hernández Radoux, Hanan Yablonka, and Mich'el Nisenbaum from Gaza, all of whom the army said were killed on October 7.
"We Are All Hostages" accused the IOF of neglecting the captives for 231 days, referring to the video of female captives.
According to the movement, “The hostage-sacrificing government has no right to exist.”
The statement added that mothers of captives demand that just as they were "neglected alive- they'll be returned alive."
Israeli media showed protesters holding placards that read: “The government gave up (on the hostages). The people will bring them home.”
Police officers approached and violently removed a demonstrator from the throng.

Families of captives living an 'ongoing nightmare'
Crowds assembled on Tel Aviv's Kaplan Street for the weekly demonstration, calling for a swift settlement to liberate captives and new elections.
Anti-government rallies are also taking place outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private house in Caesarea, Haifa, and several crossroads and bridges across "Israel".
One captive's mother called their life an “ongoing nightmare", expressing that all settlers, "with the exception of some cold-hearted ministers, watched the horrific video of the abduction of observation soldiers," adding that the government abandoned them on October 7 and "continues to abandon them now."
According to settler Ayala Metzger, whose father-in-law Yoram was kidnapped, security authorities, including IOF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, have stated in closed-door meetings that releasing captives should take precedence over attempts to remove Hamas.
Yifat Calderon, whose relative Ofer is a captive, accused Netanyahu of stifling negotiations and urged other cabinet members to further pressure him.
“History will judge every one of you," another relative of a captive stated.
'Netanyahu will return your captives in coffins': Al-Qassam video
Right before the protests broke out, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released a video addressing the families of Israeli captives held by the Resistance group in Gaza, warning that the occupation government is putting them in real danger.
The Brigades accompanied the video with a message to the families stating: "Your army, under [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu's orders, has violated their [captives] dignity, both the living and the dead."

The clip also featured statements made by Netanyahu since the beginning of the war claiming that "efforts are being made to bring back all hostages."
Similar statements indicating that all capabilities are being utilized to reach the captives made by other top Israeli officials were also displayed, including War Cabinet member Minister Benny Gantz and Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari.
After showing footage of the different claims, al-Qassam addressed the captives' families, saying: "This is how Netanyahu, his army, and his war cabinet kill the captives," followed by images of Israeli captives killed by the continuous Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
The Resistance group urged the families to ask Netanyahu and his ministers for the names of those killed captives, asserting that "they know them very well." It then warned that "time is running out" and that the Israeli government would be the reason for the "captives returning to their families in coffins."
"This is how they will bring them back," a statement written in English, Arabic, and Hebrew read.
For many weeks now, Israelis have been flooding the streets of Tel Aviv and several other areas, demanding that Netanyahu resign over his performance in the war on Gaza, including his continued dismissal of an exchange deal.
