Local Palestinian sources told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) were on high alert, setting up checkpoints near the settlement, which is built on Salfit's land, in search of the person responsible for the operation.
The occupation forces raided villages and towns in Salfit Governorate, blocking roads and sealing off town entrances as the search continued.

Another Israeli settler was injured in a different incident after her car was pelted with stones at the Husan junction, west of Beit Lahm, causing her vehicle to overturn, according to Palestinian sources.
This comes as the Israeli aggression on the West Bank and Palestinians continues. Earlier today, the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced that the IOF arrested 30 Palestinians, including former prisoners, during raids carried out across various areas of the occupied West Bank.
In a joint statement, the two organizations revealed that the Israeli army conducted a large-scale arrest campaign in the town of Azoun, east of Qalqilya in northern West Bank, detaining over 100 Palestinians, who were later released.
In February alone, "Israel" arrested 762 Palestinians, including 90 children and 19 women, from various areas in the occupied West Bank. The largest number of arrests occurred in Jenin and its refugee camp, as part of a military operation that has been ongoing for over a month.
Among those detained were reportedly 90 children and 19 women, a report by the PPS revealed, noting "a rise in field interrogations, which targeted hundreds of Palestinians over the past month." The report further noted that since the start of the Israeli offensive in the northern West Bank on January 21, "the army has arrested 300 Palestinians from Jenin and its refugee camp, and 200 from Tulkarm and its refugee camps."
