Israeli settlers decry leadership: ‘We are left stranded’
Gaza Envelope illegal Israeli settlers unleash their rage at the Israeli military and security establishment in the wake of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Israeli media reports shed light on the "harsh criticism" hurled by Gaza Envelope illegal Israeli settlers at the security and military establishments.
They were quoted as saying, "We were left to our fate... The fighters entered the houses and did as they pleased," questioning, "In what scenario does something like this happen in Israel?"
The Israeli Channel 12 also mentioned that the Israeli occupation army has started evacuating the settlers 4 kilometers away from the barrier fence between the occupied territories and the Gaza Strip.
French television channel BFM aired messages of frustration and inquiries from residents of the Gaza envelope settlements regarding the intelligence failure in response to Hamas' combined ground, air, and sea operations.

A settler expressed his dissatisfaction to the French television, questioning the security officials' competence and how such a surprise attack could occur.
"It is unacceptable that they caught us off guard... Where are the security officials? How could something like this happen?", the settler added.
The Israeli media reported that the families of the missing settlers organized a demonstration near "Kirya" in "Tel Aviv" yesterday.
It is worth noting that Israeli media reported unofficial estimates suggesting that approximately 750 Israelis are still considered missing.
In a related context, the Israeli Kan website reported that the Shin Bet issued directives to the ministers of the Israeli government, advising them not to come near Palestinian areas and neighborhoods in the occupied territories and to steer clear of roads that might be subjected to potential risk.
Another Israeli failure in October
Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is topping the headlines in Israeli newspapers on Sunday, with the narrative focusing on "Israel's" failure to confront the Palestinian Resistance, while the situation today has been compared to the 1973 October War, 50 years ago.
In its editorial, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper described the Palestinian Resistance's operation as "the October 2023 failure," adding that hundreds of Israelis were killed while dozens were kidnapped and transferred to Gaza.
"Israel" Hayom described the recent escalation as "hell in the South," comparing "Israel's" failure in curbing the Palestinian operation to its failure during the October War.
The Maariv newspaper said 50 years after the October War, "Israel" was caught off guard again, while The Jerusalem Post claimed in its editorial that Hamas launched a "deadly invasion".
In addition, Haaretz held Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for "the catastrophe that befell Israel."
'Once greatest intelligence forces in the world, not anymore'
On his account, Israeli military commentator Noam Amir wrote on X: "Every officer with the rank of sergeant and above has participated in the serious war exercise that broke out exactly 50 years ago on Yom Kippur in the past year. They met the fighters of that war, saw how the Israeli army collapsed within its intelligence, learned what has changed since then, and how we have transformed from a country without intelligence to one of the major intelligence powers in the world. All of this stood true until yesterday morning."
