Israeli settlers stab Palestinian in al-Khalil, West Bank
Israeli settlers have assaulted and injured a young man in al-Khalil while damaging the homes of citizens under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
A young man fell victim to an attack by settlers in the heart of Tel Rumeida, a Palestinian neighborhood located in al-Khalil, in the Occupied West Bank.
The settlers who stormed the neighborhood, protected by Israeli forces, assaulted Abdullah Ragheb Abu Aisha and then stabbed him in the back with a knife.
Emergency teams treated Abu Aisha's moderate injuries on the spot.
In their incursion on the neighborhood, settlers attacked Palestinian citizens and hurled stones and glass bottles at their homes which shattered their windows.
Several residences were damaged by the settlers who attacked the neighborhood coming from the nearby settlement of "Ramat Shai" built on stolen land and property belonging to the residents of Tel Rumeida.
Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas and sound bombs at Palestinians which led to several cases of suffocation, as they eased the settlers' attack on the neighborhood in al-Khalil.
It is worth noting that settlers' attacks on Palestinian neighborhoods and towns in the West Bank occur on a daily basis, as settlers are provided with protection by Israeli occupation forces to disrupt the daily lives of Palestinians and put them under direct threat.

In the northern West Bank, Palestinians have been able to form well-organized groups to resist and turn back settlers and occupation forces alike.
An Israeli occupation military site near the Shweika suburb, located north of the Occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm, came under gunfire on Sunday, according to reports from Israeli media outlets, confirmed by the spokesperson for the Israeli army.
Israeli news channel Kan confirmed that the Israeli site was subjected to gunfire that "did not result in injuries" among the occupation soldiers.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - Tulkarm Brigade (Rapid Response Groups) - claimed responsibility for the operation and announced that the faction's fighters were able to engage IOF at a "distance not exceeding 30 meters," confirming direct hits "among the enemy's ranks."
The Resistance group also dared the Israeli occupation military to "reveal its actual casualties."
