The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) announced on Wednesday the death of four of its soldiers in the Gaza Strip, raising the total number of its claimed casualties to 29 since the launch of the ground invasion nearly a week ago.

According to an announcement by the IOF, the killed soldiers consisted of 3 from the Givati Brigade and the fourth from the Shaldag unit specialized in intel gathering.

In total, the number of IOF soldiers who have been killed since October 7th has reached 345.

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources on Saturday, the number of casualties rate in the IOF is far more than double the number of casualties reported during the 2014 operation.

They pointed out that "Hamas fighters appear to have greater preparedness and capabilities compared to what they had when Israel invaded Gaza in 2014."

In a related context, Israeli Security Minister Yoav Galant announced that "the army engaged in fierce battles in Gaza today," emphasizing that "the coming days will be very challenging." He had previously stated that the costs of this war would be significantly high.

This comes against the backdrop of violent clashes in protests led by the relatives of the deceased and the abducted in front of the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as reported by Israeli media.

Moments before the video was released, Abu Obaida announced that Al-Qassam Brigades' fighters had completely or partially destroyed 24 military vehicles within the last 48 hours in combat zones.

He added that Al-Qassam had launched precise anti-armor strikes against Israeli military vehicles, emphasizing that "our snipers are engaging in precise operations against those hiding in buildings, or to the Zionist soldier who dares pop his head out of a tank."

Earlier today, Al-Qassam released footage of targeting Israeli special forces entrenched in several buildings in Beit Hanoun with shells.

They also announced that an Israeli tank that had penetrated the Sultan area west of Beit Lahia was destroyed with a 'Yasin 105' shell, and another Israeli tank that had penetrated the southwest of Tal al-Hawa was hit with a guided missile of the 'Konkurs' model.

An Israeli force entrenched in a building northwest of Gaza City was also targeted, resulting in an engagement with machine guns and grenades, leading to the death of 5 soldiers and the injury of others.
