Israelis escalating after failing to maintain ground gains: Sources
A Palestinian Resistance source tells Al Mayadeen that Israeli occupation forces are in a hit-and-run state amid confrontations with the Resistance.
The Palestinian Resistance is confronting an Israeli ground force conducting an infiltration attempt in Beit Hanoun and eastern al-Bureij in northern Gaza, a Palestinian Resistance source told Al Mayadeen.
The source indicated that the Israeli occupation soldiers are in a hit-and-run state and unable to maintain ground gains in incursion points in the north, northeast, and northwest of al-Bureij camp. Consequently, the Israeli army is intensifying its shelling on the frontlines.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades announced in a statement that its Resistance fighters are deployed at the front lines and are repelling an Israeli ground incursion in Beit Hanoun and eastern al-Bureij.
Meanwhile, confrontations continued east of Jabliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported, adding that al-Qassam Brigades repelled a ground incursion in Beit Hanoun and east al-Bureij.

According to Israeli media, the "first ground test seems to have been disappointing," adding that the Israeli government is apparently "betting on the lives of its soldiers on the gambling table."

Osama Hamdan, the representative of Hamas in Lebanon, told Al Mayadeen that Resistance fighters continue to confront Israeli occupation military units trying to advance into the Strip, adding that Zionist forces are suffering confirmed injuries.
Hamdan considered that the current events raise a big question in the face of whoever "thought they could reconcile with this enemy," stressing that those carrying weapons in the name of "Palestinian legitimacy" must point them at the Israeli occupation.

"The peoples of our nation are alive despite oppression and attempts to divert their compass toward unreal conflicts," the Hamas senior official said, pointing out that Americans are starting to realize that "all attempts at normalization collapsed with the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood."
Conveying the stance of al-Qassam Brigades, Hamdan affirmed that "there will be no negotiations regarding Israeli captives until the aggression against us ends."
On Washington's statements, he said they do not diminish the extent of the United States' involvement in the aggression against Gaza, and unless the US administration stops its political, financial, and arms support for the enemy, "it is complicit in shedding every drop of blood in Palestine."
On the other hand, Ali Abu Shahin, a member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement, emphasized in a conversation with Al Mayadeen that all the Israeli occupation's announced goals are unattainable.
Abu Shahin added that "the Resistance is engaged in a strong confrontation with the Israeli enemy, and the power cuts and internet disruptions are an attempt to undermine the internal front in Gaza," confirming that "the extermination war being waged by the occupation against civilians is exacerbating [the Israeli] crises."

This comes after the Israeli occupation army said it expanded the scope of its ground operations to move into Gaza starting tonight, as per Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari on Friday.
“We are prepared to defend in all arenas. We are acting in order to protect the security interests of the State of Israel,” he said, claiming that Israeli war jets are "significantly" striking underground targets, he continued.
Amid the ongoing violent aggression on Gaza, the Israeli occupation cut off internet and telecom services across the Strip, deepening the isolation of the massacred Palestinians.
In response to the Israeli atrocities, Hamas declared that the occupation entity, the United States, and their Western allies bear full responsibility for the horrifying series of massacres in Gaza.
The Resistance movement asserted that the disruption of communication and the internet in Gaza, coupled with the escalating airstrikes, strongly indicated the occupation's intent to carry out further acts of genocide, away from the scrutiny of the press.
