Israeli "Channel 14" reported that two Israeli settlers were injured on Tuesday in a shooting attack near Huwara, located south of Nablus in the West Bank.

Several Israeli media outlets have conveyed that one of the wounded individuals sustained a gunshot wound to the head. According to Israeli "Channel 12", the shooting incident occurred in Huwara and involved a speeding Palestinian vehicle that quickly left the area.

Similarly, the Israeli website "Mafzak Ra'em" detailed that a speeding Palestinian car opened fire on a vehicle occupied by Israeli settlers at the intersection of Huwara, confirming the attacker's subsequent escape.

The Israeli "Kan" channel reported that the injured settlers' condition, resulting from the Huwara incident, ranges from mild to moderate. They were subsequently transferred to the Israeli "Beilinson" Hospital for medical treatment.

Following the attack, Israeli occupation forces dispatched significant reinforcements to the area, initiating inspection and search operations in pursuit of the shooter, who managed to flee. Concurrently, local Palestinian media outlets reported that the occupation forces had closed checkpoints surrounding the city of Nablus.

Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" disclosed that the Israeli occupation army is currently cordoning off the vicinity of Nablus and the town of Huwara, deploying substantial forces at the city entrances to aid in the search for the shooters.

The Israeli occupation army's radio correspondent, citing a security source, noted, "The perpetrator of the attack managed to escape on foot."

In response, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem lauded the operation, emphasizing that the Resistance in the West Bank continues to direct its actions against the "terrorist Zionist occupation." He underscored that these actions are part of the ongoing struggle to remove the occupation from Palestinian territory and safeguard holy sites.

Qassem further emphasized in a press statement that the fortifications and mobilization of occupation forces would not deter the Resistance's activities, asserting the persistence and deep-rooted nature of the ongoing revolution.
