Jabbarin for Al Mayadeen: There is an Israeli plan to storm Al-Aqsa
A member of the Hamas political bureau stresses the Resistance's readiness for any battle with the Israeli occupation for six consecutive months.
A member of the Hamas movement political bureau, Zaher Jabarin, affirmed Monday that the movement is following up on the Palestinian prisoners' file day by day.
In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Jabarin stressed that the Israeli occupation's violations against the prisoners will not pass without retaliations inside and outside prisons.
He pointed out that the six prisoners who seized their freedom through a tunnel dug outside Gilboa prison on September 6, are engaged in a strategic battle and have defeated the criminal mentality of the occupation.
Commenting on the latest events in Jenin, Jabarin considered that the secret behind the Jenin camp's struggle lies in its unity, adding that there is no difference between the resistance factions there.
The Hamas official revealed that there is an Israeli plan to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 15th of Ramadan, pointing out that this would be the most dangerous act that the Israeli occupation could commit.
Jabarin also confirmed the Resistance's readiness for any battle with the Israeli occupation for six consecutive months.
He said the movement has been fighting the occupation for more than seven continuous decades, adding that "Israel" continues to imprison and kill Palestinians in the West Bank, the lands occupied in 1948, and the Gaza Strip.
The member of the Hamas political bureau highlighted that there are 5,000 Palestinian prisoners, some of whom have spent 48 years in the occupation prisons, adding that there are currently about 500 Palestinian prisoners in administrative detention boycotting courts for more than a 100 days. There are also about 20 prisoners suffering from cancer.
Jabarin concluded that about a month ago, there was a coordinated strategic step at the beginning of the month of Ramadan, with all the Palestinian resistance movements, as the Palestinian cause is an inclusive issue for all Palestinians.
