Occupation forces stormed, at dawn, the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, martyring two Palestinians amid violent clashes with resistance fighters.

According to medical sources, the commander of the PIJ's Jenin Battalion, Adham Jabarin (26 years old), and Jawad Bawaqatah (57 years old) were martyred by the occupation forces during their incursion into the camp.

A horde of occupation forces stormed the Jenin camp and its surroundings, while armed clashes broke out between the Jenin Brigade and occupation forces.

For its part, the Jenin Brigade said that their resistance fighters engaged in violent clashes and targeted the occupation forces with heavy fire. 

The brigade added that their fighters were able to detonate a number of explosive devices that targeted a number of occupation vehicles and destroyed them.

It also mentioned that the resistance fighters were able to target the occupation forces in the vicinity of the camp, with heavy fire and explosive devices, achieving direct hits.

Palestinian media reported several injuries, including critical ones, during the continuous storming of the city and camp of Jenin.

Media outlets reported the arrest of a leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, Khaled Abu Zina, and his two sons, during the raid on Jenin.

Confrontations also took place during the arrest of Abu Zina and his two sons in the Jenin camp.

Also, three Palestinians were martyred, one of whom was a former security prisoner named Adham Abu Al Bassem.
