Jenin Resistance ambushes IOF from point-blank amid West Bank battles
Al Mayadeen's correspondent says the death toll from the Israeli occupation's attacks on Qabatiya, south of Jenin, has risen to five.
The al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade announced that its Resistance fighters, in collaboration with the al-Qassam Brigades, ambushed an Israeli armored force on Saturday by trapping it in a field of fire while it attempted to take refuge in a house.
According to the al-Quds Brigades' statement, the fighters managed to trap a 10-soldier infantry unit in the field of fire during its attempt to shelter in a house by detonating an explosive device against a military bulldozer on the al-Akasha axis.
The Israeli force was heavily showered with direct gunfire from point-blank range, resulting in confirmed casualties, the statement confirmed.
The Brigades' fighters in the town of Arraba also engaged Israeli forces in the area. They detonated a pre-prepared explosive device against a military vehicle along the path of the Israeli reinforcements entering the town, causing confirmed casualties.
Earlier, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent indicated that Palestinian Resistance fighters were engaged in fierce battles with Israeli forces in the eastern district of Jenin, while simultaneously targeting them with an explosive device during confrontations in the town of Arraba, southwest of the city.
Martyrs and injuries
Our correspondent said the death toll from the Israeli occupation's attacks on Qabatiya, south of Jenin, has risen to five.
Among the fallen Resistance fighters were Abed Issam Alawna and Saleh al-Ashab Zakarna, who were killed when an Israeli airstrike targeted their vehicle.
Israeli aircraft also targeted a motorcycle in the eastern district of Jenin, in the second airstrike on the area that night, resulting in two martyrs and one injury.
Earlier on Saturday, Palestinian child Ahmad Abdul-Halim al-Saadi was killed and two others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on the eastern neighborhood.
Israeli forces continue to send reinforcements, including heavy military vehicles and bulldozers, into Jenin and its refugee camp for the 12th consecutive day. They have begun further demolitions of infrastructure, homes, and shops.
In parallel, the occupation military continues its aggression on the Tulkarm camp, where a Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire, while the siege on the camp remains in full force.
