Kanaani: Lying, cheating contagious among US politicians
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson says Sullivan accompanies Biden to "Israel" to reinforce US' unconditional support for the "child-murdering regime."
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani rejected on Thursday allegations against Iran made by US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan.
In a Tweet, Kanaani considered that "Sullivan accompanies US President Joe Biden to reinforce US' unconditional support for the child-murdering regime of Israel."
"He started the tour by accusing Iran of killing Ukrainians. Apparently lying and cheating is contagious among US politicians who resort to fabrication for evil ends," Kanaani pointed out.

Sullivan: Iran planning to supply Russia with hundreds of drones
On Monday, Sullivan claimed that information sourced from a US top official suggests that Iran is planning to supply Russia with hundreds of combat drones for use in the war with Ukraine.
Sullivan told reporters that "the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with up to several hundred UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), including weapons-capable UAVs, on an expedited timeline," adding that this provision will be done on an ‘expedited timeline’ due to alleged "significant losses in Ukraine."
The US official said that it was unclear whether Iran had already expedited any of the weapons to Russia, but the US has “information” that indicates Iran is preparing to initiate training for Russian forces to use the combat drones as early as this month.
Iranian FM spokesperson responds to US allegations
In response, Kanaani told reporters that "The history of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation in the field of some new technologies dates back to before the start of the war in Ukraine and there has been no special development in this relationship recently."
Furthermore, the spokesperson said that "The position of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the war in Ukraine is quite clear and has been officially announced many times," adding that "The claim of the US official comes while the United States and the Europeans have for years turned the occupying and aggressor countries, including in the West Asian region, into a storehouse for their various fatal weapons."
Kanaani stressed that "Without these weapons, the continuation of more than seven decades of aggression, crime, and occupation by the Zionists in occupied territories would be impossible," adding that "We continue our efforts to stop the war and bring all parties back to negotiations. The plight of Ukrainian refugees, the war, and the deaths in that country are saddening to us; We condemn the displacement of the people of Ukraine in the same way that we condemn the displacement of the people of Afghanistan and other countries. We do not consider war as a solution; neither in Ukraine nor in Afghanistan or Yemen, etc."
Sullivan: US has no evidence Iran selling drones to Russia
On July 13th, Sullivan acknowledged that the US has no evidence of such trade between the two nations.
"We have not seen evidence of delivery, but we have seen evidence of engagement between the two countries on this specific issue of large numbers of UAVs, including weapons-enabled UAVs for Russia to acquire from Iran," he claimed in his statement.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian pointed out that the Islamic Republic refrains from taking steps that may result in an escalation in Ukraine, affirming that Tehran is not helping either side in the war.
In an interview on Wednesday with La Repubblica newspaper, Amir-Abdollahian did not confirm the sale of military equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles, to Russia.
"We have various forms of cooperation with Russia, including in the sphere of defense, but we are not helping either side involved in the [Ukrainian] conflict because we are certain that it should be ended. I think that currently, the problem is elsewhere - some Western countries, including the US, are manufacturing arms and trying to sell their products. We are trying to avoid any actions that may lead to an escalation. We are working on stopping this war," the Iranian Foreign Minister explained in response to Sullivan.
