Kataib Hezbollah: US embassy is military command center against Iraq
Kataib Hezbollah's senior security official, Abou Ali al-Askari, emphasizes that the US embassy in Iraq is acting as a den of espionage, but some Iraqi politicians are brushing off the matter to keep their positions.
On Sunday, Iraq’s Kataib Hezbollah stated that the US embassy compound in the Green Zone in Baghdad has been serving as a military command center working against Iraq.
The senior security official of Kataib Hezbollah (Hezbollah Brigades), Abu Ali al-Askari, emphasized on Sunday that the embassy is acting as a den of espionage, but some Iraqi politicians are brushing off the matter to keep their positions.
He added that these politicians argue that it is merely a diplomatic installation that must be protected under international conventions.
“Shame on such politicians and their personal interests, which are seriously detrimental to the country...The fact of the matter is that these positions will disappear once invaders are driven out,” he expressed.

'Until the last soldier'
This comes as just two days ago, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that several rockets were launched at Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone during the early hours of Friday.
"A multi-rocket attack was launched at US and Coalition forces in the vicinity of Union III and the Baghdad embassy complex" without causing any reported casualties or damage, a US official said.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced it carried out 11 operations against US occupation bases in Iraq and Syria two days ago as well, in response to the Israeli occupation's crimes against the people of Gaza.
The Iraqi Islamic Resistance revealed in a statement that it targeted American bases using dozens of rockets and drones, directly hitting the intended target.
In a statement on Telegram, Abou Ali Al-Askari, confirmed that the Resistance operations against the US occupation will continue until the last soldier is expelled from Iraq.
