Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh stressed, on Friday evening, Iran's support for the Palestinian cause and the liberation struggles of the Palestinian people, considering that the only way to solve the Palestine crisis is to hold a referendum with the participation of all the indigenous people of Palestine.

In his statements, after the recent developments in occupied Palestine, Khatibzadeh said, that racism, oppression, massacres, imprisonment, continuous deprivation, and daily humiliation of the oppressed Palestinian people, as well as outright terrorism practiced by the racist Zionist entity, are the main cause of all disturbances in occupied Palestine.

He pointed out that fighting the occupation forces is a legitimate, self-evident, and natural right of the defenseless Palestinian population. 

The Iranian Spokesperson called on all peoples, governments, and international circles to work toward providing security for the Palestinian people based on legitimate self-defense in the face of the occupation and terrorism practiced by the racist Zionist entity and to take the initiative to prevent the Zionists' attacks and their brutal crimes in Palestine.

He believed that resistance is the only option for the occupied people of Palestine to compel the occupation to accept the path of a democratic solution to liberate Al-Quds Al-Sharif and maintain the right to self-determination for the Palestinians.
