Abu Zaid: I believe that the Iranian operation was multi-layered, combining cyber and electronic attacks with coordinated on-the-ground infiltrations by agents
Abu Zaid: Usually, archives of such sensitivity are typically protected by a full-scale security system, but it appears that Iranian intelligence managed to make use of a gap in it

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society has slammed the gang rape crime by the IOF, calling on the UN to launch an independent probe that would hold the soldiers accountable.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) affirmed that the leaked video exposing Israeli occupation soldiers sexually abusing a Palestinian prisoner from Gaza proves that "Israel" possesses a vast documented archive of all of its crimes in the notorious Sde Teiman concentration camp.

According to the PPS, the Israeli occupation intentionally leaked the footage to direct all focus on Sde Teiman, amid talks of shutting it down.

This could show the Israeli strategy of shedding light on Sde Teiman to sidetrack backlash from other prisons and detention centers, as confirmation from the PPS further proves that the IOF commit systematic and equally horrific crimes against Palestinian detainees in all their prisons.

The PPS gave the example of the Naqab prison, where Palestinian detainees suffered various and extreme forms of sexual abuse.

PPS calls for international probe into Sde Teiman

The Palestinian Prisoners Society called on the United Nations, once again, for an impartial international investigation into the systematic torture and abuse perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

It urged international organizations investigating the issue to request recordings from surveillance cameras in Israeli detention facilities, which would undoubtedly reveal more evidence of the horrific crimes committed against detainees based on testimonies.

The organization further stated that this crime is just one of many instances of rape committed by occupation soldiers against Palestinian detainees from Gaza, particularly at the Sde Teiman camp, infamous for the torture of Palestinian prisoners, as confirmed by testimonies from recently released detainees and the limited visits conducted by various institutions.

It blasted the occupation's repeated claims about intending to investigate and hold the Israeli soldiers involved in the rape crime at the Sde Teiman camp accountable, calling it a clear attempt to avoid any international investigation into the matter.

It also highlighted that since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war on the Strip, the occupation has consistently refused to allow the International Committee of the Red Cross to visit detainees, subjecting the majority of Gaza's detainees to forced disappearance.

Recent Israeli data inaccurate

The Prisons Administration released data [does not include August figures] showing that the number of Palestinian detainees from Gaza, who it claims are "unlawful combatants", amounted to 1,584 prisoners.

The figures, however, are inaccurate and do not include all detainees abducted from Gaza. The administration claimed that the occupation legislated legal amendments regarding Gaza detainees, which limits information revealed about their fate, including that of the martyrs who have been killed after extensive torture.

The majority of Gaza detainees are subjected to enforced disappearances, while institutions still encounter major difficulties in following up, as visits to the prisons remain very limited.

Currently, over 9,900 Palestinian prisoners are detained in Israeli prisons, excluding those taken from Gaza who are held in Israeli concentration camps.

Torture and rape, in addition to the deliberate starvation and the systematic medical crimes, used by the occupation against prisoners and detainees in its prisons and camps saw significant escalations after October 7, the PPS said.

It further added they are all established and systematic crimes that the occupation has historically used against prisoners, including sexual assaults, stressing that the latter was the most prominent. Currently, the only variables, according to the PPS, are the size, intensity, and scope expansion.
