Earlier this year, Israeli Professor Eyal Zisser from "Tel Aviv" University said "Lebanon has become the safest place in the Middle East" for Resistance leaders, "due to the deterrence imposed by Hezbollah."
Zisser's remarks came during an interview for the Israeli Channel 13 regarding the meeting that took place between the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, and Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of the Hamas movement, Saleh al-Arouri.
The Channel 13 interviewer considered that the meeting between the three sides aims to tell "Israel": "Be aware, there is daily coordination and we are proud of it."
The Israeli professor also suggested that the message that the leaders wanted to convey was that "the Axis of Resistance is strong and united," adding that "this is certainly an important message."
He explained that coordination between these leaders means that when an operation takes place in Al-Aqsa Mosque, al-Quds, or the West Bank, the matter may slide into Gaza and perhaps into Lebanon and vice versa.
