Speaking at the martyrs' funeral procession, MP Ali Khreis said that "the era of defeats has passed."
During the event commemorating the martyrs of the Lebanese Amal Movement in southern Lebanon, Lebanese MP Ali Khreis said, "Our resistance fighters were martyred in defense of all of Lebanon from the north to the south."
He added, "In the name of the Amal Movement, its president, and the righteous martyrs, we declare the continuation of the Resistance and the fight against the Zionist enemy," pointing out that the Amal Movement sacrificed thousands of martyrs who fought for Lebanon since its founding, while stressing that "the era of defeats has passed."
Khreis continued by affirming that within the approach of the Resistance and the Amal Movement, "we emphasize that Lebanon's strength lies in its army, its people, and its Resistance, an equation established by the blood of the martyrs."
He addressed the Israeli occupation forces, issuing a warning, "To the Zionist enemies, we say that if you contemplate attacking Lebanon, you will find us, the Amal Movement, Hezbollah, and all elements of the Resistance, vigilant and prepared."
Today, the Amal Movement mourned its three martyrs who ascended on the road to al-Quds. According to the movement's statement, the martyrs are Hussein Ali Azzam (Abou Zahraa), born in 1994, Jafar Amin Iskander (Afouaj), born in 1991 from Rashkaniye, and Hassan Hussein Sukeiki (Shamran), born in 1996 from Ain Baal.
Last Sunday, the people of southern Lebanon mourned two martyrs from the Amal Movement, martyr Mostafa Daher and martyr Ali Mohammad from the border town of Blida, who were killed in an Israeli strike earlier on Friday.
