Lebanon’s 2022 elections official results announced

After completing the counting of all votes, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi announces the official final results of the Lebanese parliamentary elections.

Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi announced the official results of Lebanon’s 2022 elections.

The results, according to Mawlawi, are as follows:

North II

The voter turnout in the Second northern district is 38.05%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Ahmed Al-Khair, Abdel Aziz Al-Samad, Jihad Al-Samad, Ashraf Rifi, Taha Naji, Ihab Matar, Abdel Karim Kabbara, Rami Feng, Elias El-Khoury, Firas Al-Salloum, and Jamil Abboud.

North I

The voter turnout in the first Northern District is 48.1%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Muhammad Yahya, Muhammad Mustafa Suleiman, Walid Al-Baarini, Jimmy Jabbour, Asaad Dergham, Saji` Attia, and Ahmed Rostom.

Beirut II

The voter turnout in Beirut II is 38.09%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Ibrahim Mneimneh, Amin Sherri, Fouad Makhzoumi, Adnan Traboulsi, Imad Al-Hout, Melhem Khalaf, Mustafa Khawaja, Muhammad Badr, Wadah Al-Sadiq, Faisal Al-Sayegh, and Edgar Trabolsi.

Previous results: 

Lebanese Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Mawlawi announced Monday the winners in the Lebanese parliamentary elections in 12 electoral districts out of 15.

The results, according to Mawlawi, are as follows:

Beirut I

The top-voted candidates in Beirut’s first district (Achrafieh – Rmeil – Medawar – Saifi) are:

Ghassan Hasbani, Nicolas Sehnaoui, Nadim Gemayel, Jean Taluzian, Paula Yacoubian, Agob Terzian, Jihad Pakradouni, and Cynthia Zarazir.

South I

The voter turnout in the South I district (Sidon - Jezzine) is 46.6%, and the top-voted candidates are Abdulrahman Al-Bizri and Oussama Saad in Sidon and Saeed Asmar, Charbel Masaad, and Ghada Ayoub in Jezzine.

South II

The voter turnout in the South II district (Tyre - Sidon Countryside) is 48.8%, and one electoral list totally dominated the district.

It includes Nabih Berri, Hussein Jeshi, Ali Khreis, Inaya Ezzeddine, Ali Osseiran, and Michel Moussa.

South III

The top-voted candidates in the third South District (Bint Jbeil – Nabatiyeh – Marjayoun – Hasbaya) are:

Hassan Fadlallah, Muhammad Raad, Ali Fayyad, Hani Qubaisi, Ali Hassan Khalil, Elias Jaradi, Ayoub Hamid, Qassem Hashem, Firas Hamdan, Ashraf Baydoun, and Nasir Jaber.

Bekaa I

The voter turnout in the Bekaa I district (Zahle) is 49.5%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Georges Okais, Elias Ostfan, Bilal Al-Hashimi, Rami Abu Hamdan, Salim Aoun, George Pushikyan, and Michel Daher.

Bekaa II

The voter turnout in the Bekaa II district (West Bekaa - Rachaiya) is 42.47%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Kabalan Kabalan, Wael Abu Faour, Hassan Murad, Yassine Yassine, Charbel Maroun, and Ghassan Al-Sakkaf.

Bekaa III

The top-voted candidates in the Bekaa III district  (Baalbak- Hermel) are:

Hussein Hajj Hassan, Ghazi Zuaiter, Ali Mekdad, Ibrahim Al-Mousawi, Ihab Hamadeh, Jamil Al-Sayyed, Samer Al-Toum, Yenal Solh, Melhem Al-Hujairi, and Antoine Habshi.

Mount Lebanon I

The voter turnout in the Mount Lebanon I district (Keserwan-Jbeil) is 63.4%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Ziyad Hawwat, Nada Al-Bustani, Neamat Frem, Shawki Al-Dakkah, Farid Al-Khazin, Simon Abi Ramya, Raed Berro, and Salim Al-Sayegh.

Mount Lebanon II

The top-voted candidates in the second district of Mount Lebanon (Matn) are:

Sami Gemayel, Melhem Riachy, Razi El Hajj, Ibrahim Kanaan, Hagop Pakradounian, Elias Bou Saab, Michel Murr, and Elias Hankash.

Mount Lebanon III

The voter turnout in the Mount Lebanon III district (Baabda) is 47.39%, and the top-voted candidates are:

Ali Ammar, Pierre Bou Assi, Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, Alain Aoun, Fadi Alameh, and Camille Chamoun.

Mount Lebanon IIII

In the fourth district of Mount Lebanon (Chouf Aley), top-voted candidates are:

Mark Daou, Akram Chehayeb, Nazih Matta, Raji Al-Saad, Taymour Jumblatt, George Adwan, Marwan Hamadeh, Najat Aoun Saliba, Cesar Abi Khalil, Bilal Abdullah, Halima Kakour, Ghassan Atallah, and Farid Al-Bustani.

North III

The voter turnout in the third district of the North (Batroun – Bcharre – Zgharta – Koura) is 44.2%, and the top voted candidates are:

Gibran Bassil, Ghiath Yazbek, William Tawk, Strida Geagea, Tony Franjieh, Michel Moawad, Michel Douaihy, George Atallah, Fadi Karam, and Adeeb Abdel Masih.

The voter turnout all over Lebanon was 41.04%, with the voters split between 103 electoral lists and 718 candidates distributed among 15 electoral districts. The process is for the people to pick 128 members of Parliament in elections that are held every four years.
