Libya is preparing to launch a relief medical convoy consisting of about 20 ambulances, to the Rafah border crossing to provide healthcare to the Palestinians in Gaza.
The convoy is part of a Libyan initiative aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the collapse of the health sector in Gaza after Israeli aggression destroyed almost all health centers and medical complexes.

Since the Israeli aggression began on Gaza more than 6 months ago, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have destroyed hospitals, bombed ambulances, and killed or detained hundreds of healthcare workers.
The UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health Tlaleng Mofokeng announced on Monday that at least 350 healthcare workers have been killed and 520 others injured in Gaza since October 7.
During a press briefing, Mofokeng said: "We know that 520 healthcare professionals have been injured, and we know that 350 healthcare professionals, including allied healthcare workers, have been killed".
According to the UN special rapporteur, many teenagers would volunteer in Gaza's hospitals to help medical workers deal with the increase of those injured and killed, but they have not been listed among the casualties since they weren't officially registered as medical workers.
"The health system in Gaza has been completely obliterated and the right to health has been decimated at every level. The conditions are incompatible with the realization of everyone to the highest attainable state of physical and mental health", she added.
Nearly 400 decomposing bodies uncovered in Khan Younis Nasser Hospital
At least 392 decomposing bodies have been uncovered so far from the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis by the Civil Defense in Gaza and locals aiding rescue workers, following Israeli occupation forces (IOF) withdrawal from the medical facility which they invaded at an earlier time.
As authorities continue to work on recovering the bodies of Palestinians who were killed during the siege of the hospital and its subsequent invasion by the Israeli military, the death toll increases by the day, unveiling the harrowing crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces in the medical facility.
Due to the decomposed nature of the bodies and the difficult circumstances experienced by both Palestinian authorities and citizens alike, 58% of the uncovered bodies are yet to be accurately identified, the Civil Defense said on Thursday.
Many of the recently dug-up bodies were evidently children's.
