Biden will attend the 74th NATO summit, the US-Nordic Leaders' Summit, and will meet the UK Prime Minister and King during his tour from July 9 to 13.
The White House announced on Sunday that US President Joe Biden will be visiting the UK, Lithuania, and Finland on July 9 and will continue his tour until July 13 as he attends the NATO summit and other multilateral and bilateral events.
According to the White House, "President Biden is scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and Finland from July 9-13."
NATO's 74th summit will be held on July 11 and 12 in the Lithuanian capital, after which Biden will head to Helsinki to participate in the US-Nordic Leaders' Summit on July 13.
Prior to that, Biden has been anticipated to meet with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and King Charles III while in London as Washington aims to strengthen its bilateral relations with the UK.
Biden to host Swedish PM for NATO, Ukraine talks
Earlier, the White House announced that Biden will meet with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson next week to discuss transatlantic security cooperation and the Ukraine conflict.
The two presidents "will review our growing security cooperation and reaffirm their view that Sweden should join NATO as soon as possible," according to a statement released by the White House ahead of the July 5 meeting.
Sweden requested membership in NATO in May 2022, three months after the war in Ukraine began, but Turkey and Hungary stalled its application, which must be confirmed by all 31 member nations.
