Long-awaited electric Cybertruck hits Tesla production lines
Tesla rolls out the first Cybertruck electric vehicle in its mega Austin, Texas factory.
The US automotive company Tesla announced on Saturday that the first Cybertruck has been manufactured at its plant in Austin, Texas.
The long-awaited vehicle, which was featured for the first time in the announcement back in November 2019, took the attention of electric car enthusiasts, as Tesla ventured into the pickup truck market.

Previously, the electric car company announced that it would start rolling out Cybertrucks for commercial sales by the end of this year.
Musk promoted the odd-looking truck back in 2019 by slamming its window with a hunk of steel, after claiming that it can withstand strong blows.
However, the window broke as did another window on the second attempt. This event drew a lot of interaction on social media, as Tesla announced the day after that it had received 150,000 pre-orders for the vehicle.
Earlier in May, the multi-billionaire hoped that his company would be able to manufacture around 250,000 trucks a day.
The Cybertruck will have a starting price of $39,900 and can go up to $69,900, boasting zero to 60 miles per hour time of less than three seconds.
