Macron claims France has no 'double standards' despite facts
Just a day earlier, Macron referred to the Palestinian resistance as a terrorist organization.
During a meeting with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo, France's head of State Emmanuel Macron claimed on Wednesday that "France does not practice double standards" despite the fact that yesterday's remarks showed otherwise.
"International law applies to everyone and France carries the universal values of humanism," Macron said today during a joint press conference with al-Sisi in Cairo.
"All lives are equal, all victims deserve our compassion and our lasting commitment to a just and sustainable peace in the Middle East," he added.
Without mentioning a single Israeli massacre or war crime, he did add that the fight should be "without mercy but not without rules."
Before his meeting with Israeli President Herzog, Macron expressed his solidarity with the Israelis in a post on X: noting that 30 French citizens have been killed and 9 others are still missing since October 7.
Macron was not bothered to show solidarity with the innocent children of Gaza who were killed by the Israelis, and whose numbers surpassed 2700.

His statements contradict what he said a day earlier at a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, during which he referred to the Palestinian resistance as a terrorist organization.
"Our mission is to combat these terrorist groups," Macron said in "Tel Aviv" referring to the Palestinian resistance, adding that "The first goal we should have today is the release of all hostages held by Hamas."
"We will do everything in our power to restore peace, security, and stability in Israel and the entire region," he added.
Macron assured the Israeli President that Frace won't leave "Israel" alone in the fight against "terrorism".
Unprecedented hypocrisy
France's double standards have always been tilted in favor of US interests. Not only does the war on Gaza validate the case, but the war in Ukraine has also exposed unprecedented levels of hypocrisy on the part of Macron.
On September 7, French President Emmanuel Macron insisted that "the Russian flag cannot be at the Paris Olympic Games... at a time when Russia is committing war crimes".
"There is no place for Russia as a country at a time when it has committed war crimes when it has deported children," Macron said.
"Obviously, there cannot be the Russian flag at the Paris Games, I think there is consensus," Macron added in his interview with L'Equipe.
Since the start of the Ukraine conflict, about 545 children have been killed in the escalations, While the Israelis killed more than 2,704 children in Gaza since October 7, which is more than five times. Palestinian children were killed with the intention of targeting residential areas.
Russia has made it clear that in efforts to protect its national security from NATO, its only targets are servicemembers of the Ukrainian forces and armed volunteers.
But in the case of the war on Gaza, several Israeli politicians have expressed clear intentions to conduct a massive ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, by referring to all civilians as 'terrorists'.
The IOF is deliberately targeting civilians in an attempt to kill as many Palestinians as possible. Instead of condemning this, France has decided to back "Israel."
"Israel" was due to commence a ground invasion of Gaza. However, recent reports revealed that "Israel" has agreed to delay the invasion so that Washington can rush anti-air systems to the region.
