Maduro: Elections Reflect Commitment to National Constitution
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has pointed out that the elections on the 21st of November underscore commitment to the national constitution and peace in the country.
Venezuela's President, Nicolas Maduro, noted that the Venezuelan regional elections, which will take place on the 21st of November, reflect the people's commitment to the national constitution.
He also said that both opposition and loyalist candidates are spread throughout the country, which bears testament to Venezuela's democratic system.

The Venezuelan President had disclosed in September that there are ongoing attempts to undermine the government-opposition talks in Venezuela. In a televised speech, he stated that the Venezuelan administration had successfully completed the first round of talks, accusing the Colombian presidential palace of issuing an order to the opposition in Mexico to halt the talks.
The opposition announced it will end its three-year boycott of the elections and will take part in the regional elections in November.
