The vast majority of Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza believe that carrying out the Al-Aqsa Flood operation was a correct decision, one they still support it nearly six months later, a poll conducted between March 5-10 by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research PCPSR found.

The results show that 71% deemed the decision to launch the operation as correct, 72% still support Resistance movement Hamas, and 64% expect the movement to emerge victorious by the end of the war.

Furthermore, three-quarters of Palestinians who were surveyed said they believe that the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza "revived international interest in the conflict," considering that it could lead to "increased recognition of the Palestinian state."

Since the start of the war last October, the Israeli occupation has worked relentlessly to expel Palestinians from Gaza, either through horrific massacres, starvation, and aid blockade, rendering it one of the most brutal genocides in history.

But after 167 days of the Israeli horrific war, the poll revealed that 70% of Gaza residents stated that they would not leave the Strip, even if the wall between Rafah and Egypt collapsed.

A reformed Palestinian Authority?

Regarding the "day after" the war, 73% of Palestinians opposed the plan that entails the United States and an Arab alliance, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan developing a vision to strengthen and reform the Palestinian Authority, return to negotiations based on the "two-state solution," and achieve "Arab-Israeli peace."

Lebanon's Hezbollah, Yemen, and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched a phase of operations against the Israeli occupation shortly after the war on Gaza started, reiterating that their efforts are in support of the people in Gaza and their Resistance.

When asked about Yemen's role in supporting Palestine, 83% of respondents expressed satisfaction with it.

However, the poll showed complete dissatisfaction with the United States, which supported the occupation in its genocidal war on Gaza at various levels, with only 1% of the surveyed individuals saying they were satisfied with the US' conduct.
