Martyr Khader Adnan's will: Do not despair whatever the occupier does
Palestinian Resistance Prisoner turned martyr, Sheikh Khader Adnan, wrote his will on day 58 of his hunger strike, stressing that "victory is near" and asking Palestinians not to despair.
"Pray that God accepts me as an honest martyr in His service."
With these words, Resistance commander Sheikh Khader Adnan sealed his will when he wrote it on the 58th day of his hunger strike. Today, on his 87th day on strike, Adnan rises as a martyred prisoner after the Israeli occupation committed homicide through systematic medical negligence practiced against him.
He asked his family, children, wife, and the people of Palestine not to despair despite escalated aggression by the Israeli occupation and stressed that victory was near.
The beloved Palestinian martyr also noted that he would like to be buried next to his father in a grave with a simple headstone that reads: "Here lies God's humble servant Khader Adnan."

The full text of his will reads as follows:
"As martyrdom draws near, it is our duty to write our will.
In the name of God the Beneficent, the Merciful
[Indeed the faithful will have no fear, nor will they grieve; Allah will never grant the disbelievers a way over the believers; For it is Our duty to help the believers.]
All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds, that I have succeeded in carrying out the hunger strike for freedom, thanks be to God for his countless blessings, and peace and salutations upon the best of His creation, Mohammad (PBUH).
I send you these words of mine as my flesh and bones have melted away, and my strength has weakened from my imprisonment in the beloved [occupied] Palestinian city of Ramla.
I write this will of mine to my family, children, wife, and people.
To my wife and sons, I ask that you hold true to God's word, to hold to His solid cord, to seek His favor rather than that of others, and to speak justly at all times; to stay true to your blood ties, keep to your prayer and almsgiving, and to remain pious and preserve God's rights in our Selfs, our belongings, our each and every move, and even our tranquility. Never forget that the greatest of Palestine's homes are those of its martyrs, prisoners, wounded, and the righteous.
Moreover, I ask you to continue to care for your uncles, relatives, neighbors, and anyone we are indebted to... And if I am martyred, then do not allow the occupier to dissect my body. Bury me next to my father, in a humble grave, with a headstone that reads "Here lies God's humble servant Khader Adnan; pray for him, his parents, and all Muslims."
Make mine a humble grave, and ask God to grant me steadfastness, forgiveness, and mercy; that my grave be made one of heaven's meadows rather than a pit of hellfire, and that our deeds be accepted in their entirety in His service.
Umm Abd Al-Rahman and my children Maaly, Bissan, Abd Al-Rahman, Mohammad, Ali, Hamza, Mariam, Omar, and Zainab, forgive me. My dear siblings Abu Adnan, Abu Anas, Umm Nur, and all my uncles and relatives, and neighbors, forgive me for any of my shortcomings. I am leaving this world now, but be confident that only duty has kept me away from you.
O noble people [of Palestine], I write to you this message with greetings and love, and I am full of trust in His mercy, His aid, and His empowerment. This is God's land, which he has promised to us, a promise of the hereafter. Do not despair no matter the occupier's actions, as regardless of the extent of their escalation in their occupation, aggression, oppression, and transgression, it remains that God's victory draws near, and His promise of victory and empowerment to his servants is even closer.
Greetings and salutations to the families of the martyrs, prisoners, and to all free men and revolutionaries.
From your loving husband Umm Abd Al-Rahman, from your loving father my children, from your loving son O people of Palestine.
Pray that God accepts me as a martyr in His service.
Khader Adnan, Al-Ramla clinic.
02/04/2023."
