Mass resignations among senior IOF Spox Unit officials: Israeli media
The Israeli Channel 14 suggests the resignations reflect a state of disturbance within the Spokesperson's Unit.
The Israeli Channel 14 reported that senior officials in the Israeli occupation military Spokesperson's Unit have submitted their resignations, including the second man in the team of military spokesperson Daniel Hagari.
Channel 14 noted that many officials in Hagari's team have resigned and suggested that the resignations reflect a state of disturbance within the Unit, stemming from the Israeli officers' protests regarding operational and personal matters.
According to the Israeli channel, among the resignees are the second man in Hagari's team Colonel Butbul, Colonel Moran Katz, and the International Spokesperson for the Israeli occupation military Lieutenant Richard Hecht.
The report noted that Hagari had been appointed as the spokesperson for the Israeli occupation military without having previously held any role in the Unit.
Earlier, Israeli media revealed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's orders to prepare for a ground invasion in the Gazan city of Rafah had caused significant disagreements between him and Israeli military officials.
Israeli Channel 12's political analyst, Yaron Avraham, mentioned that Netanyahu recently discussed the continuation of the military operation with Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, revealing a disagreement over the occupation of Rafah.
Avraham noted that while Netanyahu pressures the military to find quick solutions, Halevi insists on securing favorable conditions, such as evacuating the area and coordinating with Egypt.
