Sirens echoed across Tel Aviv and several other settlements in central occupied Palestine on Thursday evening following a missile launch from Yemen.
According to "Israel's" missile warning system, sirens were activated in multiple areas, including Tel Aviv–Yafa, Ramat Gan, al-Lydd, Beit Shemesh, Askalan, Ramla, and Beer al-Sabe’, as "Israel" detected a projectile heading toward occupied territories.
Only hours before the missile sirens in Tel Aviv, the Yemeni capital of Sanaa came under heavy aerial assault from Israeli fighter jets. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Yemen reported that Israeli warplanes launched strikes on southern Sanaa, targeting civilian infrastructure.
Yemeni air defenses successfully intercepted several Israeli aircraft, forcing them to retreat. However, naval strikes were also deployed in what military sources described as a large-scale and coordinated operation by "Israel."
The Ministry of Health in Yemen reported that 8 were martyred and 142 were wounded in the Israeli aggression.
Yemeni strikes intensify
This incident follows a drone operation targeting military sites in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in southern occupied Palestine earlier yesterday. According to YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, drones successfully struck two Israeli occupation positions, bypassing interception systems. The attack on Eilat wounded at least 48 Israeli settlers per Israeli media.
The drone attack was part of a broader campaign by the YAF, which has launched multiple coordinated operations in recent days targeting Tel Aviv, Be’er al-Sabe’, and Eilat using drones and ballistic missiles.
Sayyed al-Houthi responds
In a televised speech, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Ansar Allah, condemned the United States for providing "Israel" with full cover to continue its genocidal campaign in Gaza. He praised the Resistance factions in Gaza and reiterated Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
"The open American support is what gives the Israeli entity the cover to continue its crimes," Sayyed al-Houthi stated, warning that continued aggression will only fuel broader regional retaliation.
