"The Resistance fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Zionist site of Al-Jardah, opposite the Al-Dhahira area, with guided missiles, which led to a large number of confirmed casualties among the ranks of the occupation forces, including dead and wounded," read a Hezbollah statement adopting the latest strikes against the Israeli Occupation Forces in the occupied territories.

The statement explained that the targeting was a "firm response to the Zionist attacks on Monday, 10/09/2023, which led to the martyrdom of a number of Resistance fighters: Hossam Ibrahim, Ali Ftouni, Ali Hodroj."

Moreover, it was underscored that Hezbollah "reaffirms that it will be decisive in its response to the Israeli attacks targeting our country and the security of our people, especially when these attacks lead to the fall of martyrs."

Anti-tank missiles target Israeli military posts

Several anti-tank missiles were launched from southern Lebanon towards northern occupied territories, targeting a military post in a direct hit, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent who also noted that the occupation authorities fear an infiltration in the Ras Naqoura area.

In turn, Israeli occupation authorities issued a warning to Ras al-Naqoura residents to take shelter and order the bombardment of the outskirts of the towns of Al-Dahira and Yarin in southern Lebanon with phosphorus shells.

The Israeli aggression was confirmed by Al Mayadeen's correspondent, adding that the town of Em al-Tout had also been targeted by Israeli Occupation Forces.

According to Israeli media, the bombardment allegedly targeted the location from which the anti-armor missiles were launched

The Channel 13 military correspondent underscored major fears saying that "the question now is whether Hezbollah made the decision to enter the battle or not, and we do not know the answer to this question," adding "Did Nasrallah and the Iranians decide to enter the war? We do not know. We hope they did not take such a decision, but we are preparing for this scenario."

In turn, the former head of the Aman Research Brigade claimed "Hezbollah is currently testing us."

It is important to note that Israeli media admitted to "Two casualties" following the targeting of the "Avivim" settlement from southern Lebanon.

Israeli analysts say a multi-front war is imminent

Israeli commentators are raising concerns about the possibility of a multi-front war, amid the ongoing Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

"We are heading into a long battle in Gaza... and at any moment, we might find ourselves in a multi-front war," Alon Ben David, the military affairs analyst at Israeli Channel 13, said.

He emphasized the magnitude of the unfolding events, saying that this was not an operation, but rather a long ongoing battle that would live long, asserting that it would last for more than two weeks.

Ben David said that currently, "Israel" "is focused to the north, in reference to the northern front facing Lebanon and Syria.

In the same context, Channel 12 reported that the northern front might witness escalating events, saying that this is deeply concerning to the IOF.
