Abdul Samad Fathi, the deputy coordinator of the Moroccan National Front to Support Palestine and Oppose Normalization, said the Israeli entity regards Morocco as the gateway to its greedy ambitions in the Maghreb region and the rest of Africa, and it wants it to wage war on its behalf in the area.

Fathi stressed in a post on his official Facebook page that the visit of the Israeli Security Minister to Rabat and military normalization with the Israeli entity will have dangerous repercussions on two levels, in addition to becoming a clear display of immorality towards the Palestinian cause.

The first level is related to Morocco’s security and stability, as normalization with an occupier with an expansionist project and ambitions and with a history of betrayal and backstabbing is foolishness per se and constitutes the ultimate treason to the country.

The second has to do with the security and stability of the region, for the occupier will not hesitate to foment sedition and ignite a war between the countries of the region until its goals are achieved.

Fathi also stressed that military normalization is a risk to the independence of the country and the stability of the region, as it is a stab in the back of the Palestinian people and the Moroccan army that the Zionist army literally burned in the October 1973 war, after its warplanes targeted them with burning arrows, so their bodies arrived at hospitals all charred.

The Front’s coordinator confirmed this means that things are well-studied and planned and that we are facing a new stage of normalization. Military normalization comes after the stages of diplomatic and popular normalization, and it is the most dangerous type.

He continued that indeed a visit by the Zionist Minister of Security Benny Gantz to Morocco is scheduled for Monday, November 15, 2021, condemning it entirely.
