Moroccans Against Normalization Denounces Suspicious Arts Forum
Moroccans Against Normalization movement confirms in a statement its refusal to organize a normalization forum in the city of Sidi Belkacem, and calls on all local and national bodies and organizations to denounce these activities.
The Moroccans Against Normalization movement expressed on Thursday its strong condemnation of the normalizing Salam Forum for Contemporary Arts in the city of Sidi Belkacem, coinciding with the 104th anniversary of the "ominous" Balfour Declaration.
In a statement published on Facebook, the movement said that the suspicious Salam Forum is an intruder on the residents of the city "that have never and will never fail to support the Palestinian cause,"
It also considered that the incident is a dangerous indication that some organizations are "in the arms of the Zionist entity."
The statement called on all local and national bodies and organizations to denounce these activities that contradict the values of the Moroccan society that supports Palestinians.
The movement also denounced opening youth centers and public halls to normalizers, while closing them in the face of serious associations and organizations, and criticized “wasting public money in normalization with the suppressing entity, instead of supporting fragile and affected social sectors in the city.”
The statement reiterated the movement's unconditional support for the struggles of the Palestinian people to the complete liberation of their occupied land.
Morocco reached an agreement with the Israeli occupation to normalize relations at the end of last year.
