MSF: 'Israel' responsible for death of 2 people on MSF convoy
Doctors Without Borders describes the attack by "Israel" as "deliberate," and argues that the MSF convoy was identifiable, clearly per the MSF logos on them.
Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) or Doctors Without Borders, has released a statement, saying that eyewitness testimonies demonstrate that "Israel" was responsible for the attack on the MSF evacuation convoy in Gaza on November 18 that killed two people.
It described the attack as "deliberate" and argued that the MSF convoy was clearly identifiable per the MSF logos on them.
"On 18 November 2023, a Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) evacuation convoy came under fire in Gaza City, Palestine… Two weeks later, after collecting the testimonies of MSF staff present that day in the convoy, MSF considers that all elements point to the responsibility of the Israeli army for this attack," it said on Friday.
A formal explanation from "Israel" has been requested by the MSF after urging an independent investigation into the matter.
Medical workers have become one of the main targets in Gaza despite being protected by customary international law.

MSF have expressed "deep concern" about the situation in Gaza, stressing that the group lost contact with some of their Palestinian colleagues last month on the ground amid intense Israeli bombardment and the cut off of all sources of communication.
"We are particularly worried for the patients, medical staff and thousands of families taking shelter at Al Shifa hospital and other health facilities," MSF wrote on X on October 20, adding "we call for the unequivocal protection of all medical facilities, staff and civilians across the Gaza Strip."
MSF further urged the international community to act quickly and take stronger action in enforcing "Israel" to stop the bloodshed and massacres.
