Elon Musk subtly endorsed a post alleging that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky prioritizes power and money over seeking peace, amid US efforts to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.
A user on Musk’s platform X wrote, "Zelensky doesn’t want peace, he wants money and power," to which Musk responded with the "100" emoji, indicating agreement.

Musk has been President Donald Trump’s key ally in efforts to shrink the federal government while also expanding his influence internationally, engaging in European politics and supporting far-right figures in the UK and Germany.
He has previously criticized the Ukrainian leader, dismissing his appeals for Western aid and mocking his assertion that Ukraine is independent and cannot be forced into negotiations with Russia.
It is worth noting that at the start of the war, Musk provided thousands of Starlink terminals to Ukraine to restore communications disrupted by Russia, earning praise as a key ally of Kiev.
However, that perception shifted when he began sharing what Ukraine described as pro-Russian propaganda on X. Since then, he has criticized US aid to Ukraine for lacking accountability and a clear strategy while becoming a vocal critic of Zelensky.
Russian and US negotiators met in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, but Zelensky stated that Kiev was neither informed nor involved. European officials were also excluded from the talks.
Reportedly, the Russian delegation consisted of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Policy Advisor Yuri Ushakov, and the US delegation consisted of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
