Netanyahu vows to 'change Middle East' in war on Gaza
The Palestinian Health Ministry has recorded that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in over 560 Palestinian martyrs and as many as 2900 people injured.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened Monday to "change the Middle East" in "Israel's" war on Gaza, as the occupation launches continuous airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
As of 4:00 pm on Monday, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in over 560 Palestinian martyrs, as reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry.
This number is preliminary as many Palestinians remain unaccounted for under the rubble of collapsed residential buildings due to Israeli brutal airstrikes. Additionally, the Ministry stated that 2,900 individuals have been injured.
Netanyahu claimed that Hamas would experience "difficult and terrible" things, adding, "We are going to change the Middle East."
"This is only the beginning... we are all with you and we will defeat them with force, enormous force."
Netanyahu blamed for 'Israel's' calamity, failure
In its Sunday editorial, the Israeli occupation’s Haaretz newspaper said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is “responsible for the catastrophe that befell Israel on Sukkot [a Jewish holiday].”
The daily noted that Netanyahu will attempt to “evade responsibility and lay the blame on the heads of the Army, Aman [military intelligence], and the Shin Bet.”
Haaretz further said in its editorial, “The prime minister, who prided himself on his vast political experience and his irreplaceable wit in security matters, completely failed to recognize the danger into which he knowingly led the country when he established the government of annexation and expropriation when he appointed Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir to its key positions, and when he pursued a foreign policy that publicly ignored the presence and rights of the Palestinians.”
The newspaper further accused him of underestimating "the enemy and its military capabilities…However, the intelligence and military failure does not absolve Netanyahu of his overall responsibility for the crisis, as he is the supreme decision maker in Israeli foreign and security affairs.”
Meanwhile, other Israeli media reported that alongside Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was launched by the Palestinian Resistance yesterday, the northern front with Lebanon witnessed shelling targeting three Israeli military outposts on occupied Lebanese soil in the Shebaa Farms, for which the Lebanese Resistance claimed responsibility.
Earlier today, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Gaza is witnessing the heaviest bombing since the beginning of the aggression, describing the Israeli airstrikes as "hysteric".
Our reporter stressed that the Israeli occupation forces waged brutal and indiscriminate attacks on the besieged Strip using thermobaric weapons, not to mention phosphorus bombs, which are banned under international law.
Concurrently, Operation Al-Aqsa Flood initiated by the Palestinian Resistance — a response to years-long Israeli occupation and crimes against Palestinians — has led to between 800-1,000 Israeli deaths at least, based on reports from Israeli media.
