An informed Palestinian source confirmed to Al Mayadeen that there is no progress in regard to the Israeli soldiers detained by the Palestinian resistance, noting that Netanyahu and the occupation government are stalling.
The source also emphasized that the Palestinian resistance remains adamant about the conditions it has set. "[The resistance] has offered the mediators a clear plan for action," he added.

The source noted that the complications are from Netnahyahu's end, such that they have been generally passive and have taken no initiative.
The resistance demanded the liberation of the imprisoned commanders of the Palestinian factions and other prisoners with long sentences, in the expected prisoner exchange deal, according to the source. In particular, the resistance has namely demanded the liberation of the four Palestinians who had attempted to break out from prison through the famous Freedom Tunnel operation.
